The Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise supports coordination, collaboration and knowledge-sharing among a group of ad-hoc stakeholder organizations with candidate vaccines in clinical trials or preclinical development. This Clinical Trials Collaborators group includes representatives from public and private sectors with the shared goal of accelerating the development of an HIV vaccine.
Meetings of the Clinical Trials Collaborators are organized by the Enterprise to discuss vaccine trial plans, lessons learned, and common issues around vaccine development and trials to help inform both independent and collective strategy.
In 2014, Clinical Trial Collaborators developed the idea of using a common set of assays to compare immune responses across clinical trials. Read about the Immune Space project and access the resulting publication here.
